Cleveland leads series 3-0
I wondered in my last post if LeBron James would crack 40 minutes, or if they would even be challenged by the Atlanta Hawks. And guess what? Both did happen in this game. And the Cavs still won convincingly. James had 47 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 [...]
How dominant are these Cavs? They’re now 6-0 in the postseason, and “tied a league record by winning their sixth consecutive playoff game by double digits. The Cleveland Cavaliers completed a sweep of the Detroit Pistons to become the first team to advance to the next round, while Chicago and Orlando win to tie their respective series. In the Western Conference, Houston wins by a point to lead their series with Portland 3-1.
LeBron James leads the Cavaliers to a commanding 3-0 series over the hapless Detroit Pistons, while Thaddeus Young scored with 2 seconds left to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a win over the Orlando Magic. In the Western Conference, Luis Scola and the Rockets locked down Brandon Roy and the Blazers in winning their game to lead the series 2-1.
Two predictable results for today (unless you really are a big believer in the losing teams), along with a great game from one of the most exciting series (imo) in these Playoffs! The Cavs and Lakers bested their lowest-seeded opponents, while the young Portland Trailblazers rebounded from a humiliating opening loss to the Houston Rockets.
