I’m really excited for Harry Potter 6. I’m watching on Saturday though, still a long wait.

(But seriously, has anyone NOT watched Transformers 2 yet?)
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is the sequel to 2007’s Transformers, and picks up 2 years after the end of the first film.
The release of the sixth installment of the Harry Potter film franchise, The Half-Blood Prince, is just a week away!

It’s been a while since I’ve gone to the theaters to watch something that’s neither a comedy nor a special-effects eye candy. But this movie has gotten very good reviews from my friends, and so I decided to give it a try. Never mind that it scored pretty low in Rotten Tomatoes.

Director Zack Snyder (of 300 fame) brings one of the classics of the graphic novel medium (and also one of Time magazine’s 100 Best Novels) to the big screen in Watchmen, where a group of semi-retired superheroes, or “masks,” tries to uncover a plot to destroy their kind, all while under the threat of nuclear annihilation of the human race. Set in an alternate 1985, Watchmen is more murder mystery than a “comic book movie” in the stereotypical sense, with philosophical underpinnings to boot.
Angels & Demons is the follow-up to 2006’s box-office hit The Da Vinci Code. Like it’s predecessor, this film stars Harvard professor Robert Langdon (Hanks), a brilliant professor with a penchant for historical scavenger hunts, who is tapped by the Vatican to help them unravel the schemes of an ancient secret society of scientists known as the Illuminati.
